Austin Aune, a native Texan from Argyle, embodies the spirit of determination and versatility. Growing up in the Lone Star State, Austin's passion for hardwork was ignited early on, excelling in both football and baseball throughout his upbringing.
During his formative years in Argyle, Austin showcased his athletic prowess, distinguishing himself as a standout player in both football and baseball. His dedication and talent ultimately led to a pivotal moment when he was drafted by the New York Yankees in the second round, marking the beginning of a six-season journey in professional baseball.
Despite the highs and lows of his baseball career, Austin's unwavering resilience and commitment to excellence never waned. Following his tenure with the Yankees, Austin embarked on a new chapter, returning to college to pursue his education in Finance, Real Estate and athletic ambitions simultaneously.
At the University of North Texas, Austin seamlessly transitioned from the diamond to the gridiron, showcasing his versatility by earning the starting quarterback position for the Mean Green football team and setting the single season TD record for North Texas. His return to collegiate athletics not only showcased his adaptability but also reinforced his unwavering work ethic and leadership qualities.
Now, as Austin sets his sights on a career in the dynamic world of real estate, he brings with him a wealth of experience and invaluable lessons learned from his time on the field. Drawing upon the core values instilled in him through sports—hard work, leadership, execution, and communication—Austin is poised to excel as a real estate agent.
Outside of work, Austin finds fulfillment in his role as a devoted husband to his wife, Kristin, and a loving father to their two daughters, Palmer and Parker. He also has a passion for the outdoors and loves spending time at his family’s ranches in Brownwood and Eagle Pass.
